Silicone Curing Agent Ratio.
Silicone rubber is the most common two-component vulcanized silicone rubber. When not in use, silicone rubber consists of two parts: the gel and the curing agent. They are mixed evenly in a specific ratio before use. Generally, only the weight of the gel needs to be considered. In special cases, the weight of other silicone additives needs to be considered. For example, when using pad printing silicone, the curing agent ratio needs to be calculated based on the total weight of the silicone and the added silicone oil.
C-8E (Cutting Agent): A transparent, gel-like, environmentally friendly silicone curing agent used for compression molding of silicone rubber products. It is suitable for transparent, semi-transparent, medium- to high-quality products, and also for products processed from ordinary silicone.
C-14 Food-Grade Odorless Curing Agent: C-14 is a newly developed odorless curing agent used for compression molding of silicone rubber products. It is suitable for medium- to high-quality products, especially for producing miscellaneous silicone parts. It is suitable for colored parts and transparent and white products. C-14 becomes odorless after a single vulcanization. Two-stage vulcanization is even better (160℃; 20 minutes). This product is flammable. When mixing, please add two kilograms of silicone curing agent and an equal proportion of crosslinking agent and mix well before quickly adding the remaining raw materials to avoid ignition.
C-15E Environmentally Friendly Curing Agent: C-15E is a transparent, gel-like, environmentally friendly anti-yellowing curing agent used for compression molding of silicone rubber products. It is suitable for medium to high-quality products and also for general silicone processing. When used on transparent or white parts, it guarantees that the product will not yellow after up to four vulcanization cycles (or two vulcanization cycles at 200℃ for 1-2 hours).
C-20E Anti-Yellowing Curing Agent: C-20E is a semi-transparent, gel-like silicone anti-yellowing curing agent used for compression molding of silicone rubber products. It is suitable for medium to high-quality products and also for general silicone processing. When used on transparent or white parts, it guarantees that the product will not yellow after up to five vulcanization cycles (or two vulcanization cycles at 200℃ for approximately 4 hours). It is suitable for anti-yellowing of colored parts and guarantees that colored parts will not change color after multiple vulcanization cycles.
H-10 Silicone Rubber Internal Release Agent: This product is a specialized internal additive for releasing molded silicone rubber at high temperatures. It disperses easily upon addition, and a small amount can significantly increase production while ensuring product quality. It is widely used in silicone rubber products with complex shapes, such as buttons.
FY-31 Silicone Rubber Treatment Agent: FY-31 silicone rubber surface treatment agent is a primer specifically for silicone rubber double-sided adhesive. It is available in fast-drying and slow-drying types. The appropriate type is selected based on the product's manufacturing process. Applying it to high-temperature rubber sheets before applying double-sided adhesive ensures a tight bond. This adhesive is non-toxic, odorless, and heat-resistant after drying.
Y-21 Silicone Rubber Shrinkage Agent: This product reduces the size of silicone rubber products at high temperatures without affecting other properties of the silicone rubber (such as yellowing and mechanical properties). It disperses easily upon addition, does not produce white spots, and is widely used in silicone rubber buttons, sealing rings, and other miscellaneous products. Bis(2,4)-dichlorosulfurizing agent: Good anti-yellowing properties, high product transparency, low addition amount: less blooming, low odor, suitable for producing high-transparency extruded products.
Mid-range product, suitable for producing extruded products with slightly higher transparency requirements.
Inexpensive, low cost, suitable for producing wires or extruded products with lower transparency requirements.
