Silicone is a flexible material, allowing silicone keyboards to be rolled and deformed into a normal-sized keyboard. Silicone keyboards feature a fully sealed design, making them waterproof, dustproof, oil-proof, and acid/alkali-proof. They can resist dust, debris, water, soap, and other disinfectants, with some products achieving an IP68 protection rating. Designed for use in harsh environments, they can be repeatedly washed and disinfected.
Some models feature a patented one-piece silicone base design that also serves as a soft wrist rest. The surface characters are laser-etched, making them wear-resistant and resistant to peeling. Some models are equipped with a cleaning or locking button; pressing and holding it for 5 seconds locks the keyboard for easy maintenance. Furthermore, silicone keyboards also feature backlighting and antibacterial treatment.
